Subscription Terms

What's free

TBoard's core communication tools are free and do not require a subscription: the letterboard, text-to-speech with the device's built-in system voices, basic saved phrases, basic board customization, and the Board Builder. We believe a person's basic voice tool should not be taken away.

What Premium unlocks

A TBoard Premium subscription unlocks the additional features: the lesson feed and full lesson modes (with grading and audio assist, including create-your-own lessons), practice mode, the ten natural voices, lesson stats and progress surfaces, messaging and communication circles, external sharing, unlimited custom boards, and additional communicator profiles. New users receive a 14-day free trial of Premium, and one subscription covers every profile in a household. Invited partners (support contacts) always have free access to the messaging features.

Billing and renewal

Subscription pricing, trial periods, included features, and renewal timing are presented at the time of purchase through the applicable app store. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your app store account settings.

Refunds

Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play are managed through those platforms, including billing, cancellation, and refunds, subject to the policies of the platform used for the purchase.

Changes

Muted Labs LLC may change future subscription pricing or feature access with notice where required. Any such change will not alter rights already granted for the current paid period.
