Purchase and Trial Terms

The free trial

New accounts receive a 7-day free trial with every feature unlocked: the letterboards, text-to-speech including the ten premium offline voices, unlimited custom boards, three fresh daily lessons, custom lesson creation, Practice, progress insights, private messaging circles, and additional communicator profiles. No card is required to start the trial.

What happens when the trial ends

When the trial ends, TBoard locks until the one-time purchase is made. This includes the letterboard itself and its text-to-speech. There is no permanently free tier.

Your data is not deleted when the app locks. Custom boards, lessons, saved phrases, and progress are retained, and completing the purchase — or restoring an earlier one — returns access to all of it. You can sign out or delete your account at any time from the lock screen.

The purchase

TBoard Premium is a single one-time purchase of $49.99 (USD; local pricing varies by store and region) that unlocks the entire app permanently. It does not renew, and there is nothing to cancel. It remains with the app store account used to buy it and can be restored on any device signed in with that account. One purchase covers every communicator profile in a household. Invited support partners do not need a purchase to participate in messaging.

A personal account can be active on one tablet at a time. To move between a home tablet and a school tablet, sign in with the same TBoard account on the tablet you're using; the other tablet is signed out. Your synced lesson history and progress stay with that account.

Billing

Pricing and the features included are presented at the time of purchase through the applicable app store. Payment is charged to your app store account at confirmation of purchase.

Existing subscriptions

Accounts that purchased an earlier auto-renewing monthly or annual plan keep that plan under the terms shown at the time of purchase, including automatic renewal until cancelled through the app store's account settings. Those plans are no longer offered to new customers.

Refunds

Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are managed through those platforms, including billing and refunds, subject to the policies of the platform used for the purchase.

Changes

Muted Labs LLC may change future pricing or feature access with notice where required. Any such change will not revoke access already purchased.
